چکیده

Context. The distribution of member stars in the surroundings an open cluster (OC) can shed light on process its formation, evolution, and dissolution. analysis structural parameters OCs as a function their age position Galaxy constrains theoretical models evolution. Gaia catalog is very appropriate for finding members at large distance from centers. Aims. We revisit membership lists solar vicinity, particular, by extending these to peripheral areas through EDR3. then take advantage new study morphological properties mass segregation levels clusters. Methods. used clustering algorithm HDBSCAN parallaxes proper motions systematically search up 50 pc fit King’s radial density profile clusters Gaussian mixture model (GMM) two-dimensional shape. also evaluated degree correlations with Galactic Results. Our method performs well 389 out 467 we selected, including several recently discovered that were poorly studied until now. report detection vast coronae around almost all 71 tidal tails. This multiplies number structures are identified more than four. size cores smaller old young ones average. Moreover, overall seems increase slightly age, but fraction halo decrease. As expected, pronounced oldest clusters, no clear trend evident. Conclusions. extended previously regardless age. decrease proportion populating halos highlights different evaporation processes short timescales they need affect Reported such sizes or depend ages, cannot be described single functions time.

Astrophysical Parameters of Galactic Open Clusters

We present a catalogue of astrophysical data of 520 Galactic open clusters. These are the clusters, for which at least three most probable members (18 on average) could be identified in the ASCC-2.5, a catalogue of stars based on the Tycho-2 observations from the Hipparcos mission. We applied homogeneous methods and algorithms to determine angular sizes of cluster cores and coronae, heliocentri...

Structural Parameters of the M87 Globular Clusters

We derive structural parameters for ∼ 2000 globular clusters in the giant Virgo elliptical M87 using extremely deep Hubble Space Telescope images in F606W (V) and F814W (I) taken with the ACS/WFC. The cluster scale sizes (half-light radii rh) and ellipticities are determined from PSF-convolved Kingmodel profile fitting. We find that the rh distribution closely resembles the inner Milky Way clus...

2 BOAO PHOTOMETRIC SURVEY OF GALACTIC OPEN CLUSTERS . II . Physical Parameters of 12 Open Clusters

Received ; accepted – 2 – ABSTRACT We have initiated a long-term project, the BOAO photometric survey of open clusters, to enlarge our understanding of galactic structure using UBV I CCD photometry of open clusters which have been little studied before. This is the second paper of the project in which we present the photometry of 12 open clusters. We have determined the cluster parameters by fi...

Fundamental parameters of six neglected old open clusters

In this paper we present the first BV I CCD photometry of six overlooked old open clusters (Berkeley 44, NGC 6827, Berkeley 52, Berkeley 56, Skiff 1 and Berkeley 5) and derive estimates of their fundamental parameters by using isochrones from the Padova library (Girardi et al. 2000). We found that all the clusters are older than the Hyades, with ages ranging from 0.8 (NGC 6827 and Berkeley 5) t...

Optical photometry and basic parameters of 10 unstudied open clusters

We present BVI CCD photometry of 10 northern open clusters, Berkeley 43, Berkeley 45, Berkeley 47, NGC 6846, Berkeley 49, Berkeley 51, Berkeley 89, Berkeley 91, Tombaugh 4 and Berkeley 9, and estimate their fundamental parameters. Eight of the clusters are located in the first Galactic quadrant and two are in the second. This is the first optical photometry for eight clusters. All of them are e...
